This was a fun painting using pastels in acrylic.  It was from a photo once again from my daughter in New Zealand whilst she was on holiday in South Island over Christmas.  I tried to capture the criss-cross affect of the rocks in the foreground and the hills and cliffs in the background I painting vertical lines to get some kind of movement.
