Painting of a statue of Buddha done in acrylics. Bodhi leaves are from a photo of shadows from the plants on my windowsill reflecting through the curtains. I chose Paynes Grey to compliment the purple and the statue. There are shades of yellow on the statue and the background has some hint of purple and pink. I used a mixture of brushes. For the leaves I used a sword brush, then a small round, a chiseled wedge and a large flat brush to do the wash.
