This was an attempt at painting my daughter and her partner in Auckland.  They love windsurfing and she had sent me some pictures to paint.  It was an interesting painting to try as I had to paint lots of different colour strokes in order to get the right effect of waves.  I actually used two different pictures as my subject and joined them together in the painting. They weren’t side by side in the original photo so I thought it might be fun to try and create my own version with them together.
